Sports
education not only teaches the students to maintain the physical stamina, but
also the habit of obedience, discipline, the determination to win, willpower,
etc. It also justifies the statement, “a sound mind resides only in a sound body”.
A healthy and strong body is not possible without sports and physical
activities.
Indeed,
sport clubs can help them to develop important social skills such as good
citizenship, positive peer relations and respect for authority through learning
to interact not only with other children their age, but also with older
individuals in their coaches and sports officials. The Sport clubs allow
children and youth to build self-esteem as they learn to trust in their own
abilities, receive encouragement and praise from coaches and parents, and learn
to accept constructive criticism. Through engagement in sport, they learn
leadership, teamwork, problem-solving, responsibility, self-discipline, and a
sense of initiative.
Sports
and games are very beneficial to us as they teach us punctuality, patient,
discipline, teamwork and dedication. Playing sports help us in building and
improving confidence level. If we practice sports on regular basis, we can be
more active and healthy. Being involved in the sports activities help us in
getting protected with numerous diseases such as arthritis, obesity, obese,
heart problems, diabetes, etc. It teaches us to go ahead in life by removing
all the weaknesses. It makes us bold and gives the feeling of happiness by
reducing the occurrence of anxiety and angry. It makes us physically fit and
mentally comfort using which we can easily deal with all the problems. Both
Sports and Studies are very important aspects of our life and should be
balanced to gain maximum output.
